Boston is among the most historic, rich and influential cities in America, and ranks among the main tourist hotspots in the country, hosting millions of guests each year. The various districts of Boston are accessible with the city’s public transport system, and most of Boston luxury hotels are located within close distance to the popular attractions.

The most tourist-frequented areas of Boston are around Boston Common, which is the starting point of the historic Freedom Trail. There is also the Taj Boston, which is located at the corner of the fashionable Arlington and Newbury streets, also within walking distance to the popular historic sites, museums and art galleries.

Newbury Street is famous for shopping, consisting of eight blocks filled with exclusive boutiques, hair salons and galleries. The street is often called “the Rodeo Drive of the East” with its luxurious goods. There are also different big shopping landmarks in the Back Bay and Downtown Crossing, which features several stores of all sorts.

Back Bay also boasts some wonderful world-class posh hotels, like the Back Bay Hotel, erstwhile known as the Jurys Boston Hotel. Its convenient location gives guests access to plenty of upscale shopping, fine dining and attractions. There are the Isabella Gardner Museum and Fenway Park to the west, and the John F Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum to the south.

Beacon Hill is also an dynamic area, with its authentic gas-lit street lights filling most streets, and its numerous original brick architecture going way back in time. Located here is the famous Liberty Hotel, known for its spectacular architectural aesthetics and being both an attraction and one of Boston’s finest hotels. Beacon Hill also features easy access to the city and its attractions with public transport.
